Good News For Bus Tour Industry
The charter and tour coach industry has turned around dramatically. The first quarter of 2011 saw an increase in intercity coach sales of 24%, the first increase in three years. The second quarter of 2011 confirmed this upward trend with three intercity coach manufacturers showing increased sales of 13%, 53% and 77%. The fact that motorcoach sales are up is a positive indicator that tour operators are hopeful that there will be a demand for bus tours and long distance charters in the tourism industry..
