25th Anniversary

Bus Tours Magazine was founded in 1979 when the only publication in the bus and group tour market served tour brokers exclusively. The goal of Bus Tours Magazine was and still is to serve the entire bus tour and group tour market in the United States and Canada including commercial bus tour planners, corporate bus tour planners, bus companies planning their own tours, group leaders and tour wholesalers. What makes Bus Tours Magazine different and successful is that it is independent and serves bus and group tour planners regardless of memberships and affiliations. Management and editorial also have roots in the industry with substantial prior experience in bus tour planning and in owning and managing bus operations. Many of the  articles that appear in Bus Tours Magazine are longer and present detailed information for bus and group tour planners similar to a scouting report.
